XLCC, the company behind the proposed cable factory at Hunterston are coming to the island to hold a drop-in question and answer session so you can find out more.
The factory will be one of the largest buildings in Scotland, and the tower it includes will be 185m tall, the tallest structure in Scotland by a long way. It will be clearly visible from Cumbrae. The factory will be running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with ships docking to deliver materials and collect completed cables.
The drop-in session is an important opportunity for you to learn more about the cable factory and to raise any concerns you may have with XLCC.
It will take place on Tuesday 24th January 2023, between 3pm and 6pm at the Garrison House.
