Gregor used 3D computer modelling to create an intricate lattice based on a doubly curved tetrahedral form. Three projections were taken through the lattice and overlaid on one another. The resulting image represents a vision of quantum field theory, which suggests that matter and energy are simply the result of interactions between a number of fields that fill the universe. The unusual use of gold paint for the background of this painting gives it a sense of an ornate carved wooden screen.
